Contest – Terms and Conditions

Subject to the following Terms and Conditions, you (“the Entrant” or “Customer”) will be entered into the Contest on Netmeds.com/Netmeds App.

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED HEREIN.

  1. The Contest Details:
  • Contest Period: This Contest is held by Netmeds.com from 26th to 29th June 2019.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest.
  • Eligibility: This Contest is valid for existing Netmeds customers only. However, Netmeds.com’s directors, management and employees (and their immediate families, including their spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and its related entities who are directly associated with this contest are NOT eligible for the same.
  • A registered Netmeds Customer is limited to submitting ONLY one entry on ‘How Netmeds has made your life easy’, via Netmeds official Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram pages. So, multiple entries received per entrant via these social media channels shall be counted as a single entry only.
  • A total of 100 best entries will be selected from the submitted entries during the contest period.
  • The chosen 100 lucky winners will each be awarded a Rs. 250 Netmeds e-Gift Voucher.
  • The lucky winners of this contest will be notified via email and SMS. Netmeds.com will also declare the winners on our website, as well as on our official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, on 16th July 2019.   
  • The Rs. 250 e-gift voucher code will also be included in the winner notification email and SMS. Netmeds.com assumes no responsibility for any delayed, lost or undelivered winner notification email/SMS. 
  1. How to Enter the Contest:
  • In order to enter the contest, during the Contest Period, the Entrants (users/customers) must visit either one of the Netmeds official Social Media Channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and they have to comment with How Netmeds has made your life easy.
  • Note: No other platforms OTHER THAN the entry that is submitted via our official Social Media channels will qualify for the Contest held during our Contest Entry period from 26th to 29th June 2019. No late entries will be accepted.  
  1. The Rs. 250 e-gift voucher details:
  • Under this Contest, the Netmeds e-gift voucher is valued at Rs. 250 ONLY, which can be redeemed on the ‘pre-paid’ order of ANY products worth ANY value at Netmeds.com/Netmeds App.
  • To redeem the e-gift Voucher discount of Rs. 250 on Netmeds.com, add the products to your shopping cart and at checkout you must enter your voucher code in the “Review & Complete Order” page ONLY. Once the e-voucher code is entered, Rs. 250 discount will be immediately reflected in the order total.   
  • Please Note: While placing your order, the e-gift voucher code CANNOT be applied at the promotional code input box at the Shopping cart page, which is meant for applying coupon code only.
  • The e-gift voucher code cannot be applied after an order is placed.
  • Each Lucky winner is limited to receiving ONLY one Netmeds e-gift voucher.
  • The e-gift voucher code can be used in conjunction with other promotional offers.
  • The e-gift voucher is intended for single use only. 
  • The e-gift Voucher code isnot redeemable for cash or credit, and cannot be exchanged for any other product.  
  • Validity of the e-gift voucher is for ONE month from the date of issue/notification. Expired gift vouchers cannot be redeemed. 
  • Expired or unused e-gift vouchers cannot be re-issued.
  • The e-gift voucher can be redeemed on all products at Netmeds.com/Netmeds App only.
  • In an order where the e-gift voucher is redeemed, the Rs. 250 voucher value is applicable towards product prices only, and cannot be applied to shipping charge portion of the order amount. Regular shipping charges will apply on such orders.
  • The e-gift vouchers cannot be applied retroactively to previously placed orders.
  • If an order placed using the e-gift voucher exceeds the actual value of the voucher, then the balance amount should be paid by selecting the desired payment method at checkout.
  • If the total value of an order placed using the e-gift voucher is less than the value of the voucher, then any unused portion of the voucher will be forfeited. No change or credit will be given.
  • For any reasons, an order placed using the e-Voucher has been partially modified/cancelled, an applicable portion of the original discount amount will be credited back to the customer’s Netmeds e-wallet account.
  • In the event an order placed using the e-Voucher code is returned, the refund amount will be the total order amount paid MINUS the value of the voucher. Also, in such cases, the voucher code will no longer be valid and it cannot be re-applied to another order. However, if cancellation/refund is initiated within the validity period of the e-Voucher, then the awarded e-voucher code will be re-activated and hence can be used again.
  • The order placed using an e-gift voucher can be withheld or delayed if there is a problem in processing the order.
  • Netmeds.com reserves the right to void an e-gift voucher, at its sole discretion, if the lucky winners have been found to violate any of these Terms and Conditions, so the customers using any fraudulent means to redeem the e-gift voucher will be disqualified.
  • In the event that any winner is disqualified, Netmeds.com, at its sole discretion, may decide whether a replacement winner should be selected. Such replacement winner will be subject to the same Terms and Conditions.
  • Netmeds.com reserves the right to deal with any unclaimed e-gift voucher, after its expiry, in any manner deemed fit.
  • Netmeds.com may, at its sole discretion, change the original value of the e-gift voucher without prior notice and the Entrants agree to be bound by such revisions. 
  1. Other Terms and Conditions
  • As a condition of entering this contest, all winners agree that Netmeds.com may publish his or her name and locality in any media, as required, for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing.
  • Netmeds.com will not accept responsibility for entries that are incomplete, lost, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
  • Winner selection is at the sole discretion of Netmeds.com, and Netmeds.com’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest will be final, binding and conclusive on all entrants participating in the Contest, and no correspondence relating to this Contest will be entertained.
  • Netmeds.com reserves the right to amend or waive any of the Contest terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice, at its sole discretion and the Entrants agree to be bound by such revisions.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the Entrants must exclude, release and forever discharge Netmeds.com, and their respective employees, officers, directors, agents and contractors from all liability for claims, loss, damage, cost or expenses arising from or in connection with the participation in the Contest.
  • Netmeds.com reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant if he/she is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that jeopardises the fair and proper conduct of the Contest. Netmeds.com reserves the right to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • If this Contest could not be run as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of Netmeds.com, including but not limited to terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or anything that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, then Netmeds.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and/or, if necessary, to provide an alternative prize.
  • To the full extent permitted by the law, Netmeds.com, its associated agencies and companies, exclude all liability (including negligence) for any direct or indirect injury, loss and/or damage arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the participation of the Entrants in this Contest. By entering the contest, all Entrants release Netmeds.com and its directors, officers and employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, shareholders, one and all, from any liability (including lawyer’s fees and costs) whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest. 
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Chennai and the lucky winners agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai.
